Incremental Reading Video?

Question: If I made a video of myself incrementally reading something, would that be useful? I enjoy thinking about incremental reading as a concept but would a video example be useful for all of you out there?

If so, what screen-capture software would you recommend for Windows?

  1. Hi, i would definately enjoy that video. I am still in the process of learning about IR and also changing my internal thinking about learning etc. and one of the reasons i read and enjoy your blog is because you are a seasoned IR user and it helpe me see/understand the process (more and more). I think a video would help me see/understand even more about IR. I have seen a short IR video on Youtube but it was to short and i didnt really get a feel for the process. Regarding video capturing tools i think there are free software out there you can use.
    Thanks, regards Henrik

  2. I'd enjoy watching such a video. You could use VLC to capture your desktop while incrementally reading.

  5. I'd love to see that too! I'm an avid fan of IR, but always on the lookout for other people methods and experiences with SuperMemo. Michal

  6. I would very much appreciate if you would make such screencast.
I've tried to read something about IR but I didn't really get how it's different from just reading an article in my web browser, highlighting important points and then making flash cards out of them.
I guess seeing it in action would help me actually understand what is it all about.

Also, thank you for this blog. I am at the very beginning of my SRS journey (been using Anki for a month, thinking about switching to SuperMemo) and your blog has been a great inspiration to me.
